Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This policy explains how BigWorldList Business (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit business.bigworldlist.com. It is written for readers in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Who is responsible
BigWorldList Business is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
This is a static website. We do not offer user accounts, comments or contact forms, and we do not store personal data in a database.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting and our content delivery and security provider, Cloudflare, process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is necessary to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). These logs are kept for a short period.
- Email. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.
Third-party content
Some page elements load from other providers. When your browser requests them, the provider receives your IP address:
- Fonts are served by Bunny Fonts, which does not log IP addresses.
- Article images are loaded from image providers such as Unsplash or Wikimedia Commons. We do not host article images ourselves.
Advertising and cookies
We show one advertising slot per page. Ads are served by our advertising partner, Adsterra. When an ad loads, Adsterra receives your IP address and technical information about your browser and device, and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, measure performance and prevent fraud. Adsterra processes this data under its own privacy policy.
The site itself sets no cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use an ad blocker; every article remains fully readable either way. If we add a consent tool in future, ads will follow the choices you make there. If analytics is added in future, it will be disclosed here first.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of US states such as California have similar rights to know about and delete personal information, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell the personal information we hold. To limit what advertising partners receive, block third-party cookies in your browser or contact us.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest revision above.
